How to Apply

When you apply, please keep in mind that your application is meant to help us understand who you are – your passions, your ideas, and the impact you hope to make, not just your achievements.

Required application materials

Below is a description of the materials we require to assess your application. Please read them thoroughly before sending your application.

Please note that all application materials must be in English.

In your CV, you describe your educational history, including institution names and locations, majors, degrees, and years attended (list your latest experience first). Your CV should be no more than 2 pages.

Please merge the CV with a copy of the diploma from your highest completed education. There are several free services online to merge PDF files. Just search for “PDF merge”.

Please note that the size of your PDF must not exceed 10 MB.

We request a short, written cover letter in order to learn more about the person behind the application (minimum font size 11, maximum 1,000 words). We encourage you to share with us your passions, values, and vision for your future when answering the following question:

– With what skills and experiences can you contribute to the interdisciplinarity of the BioSustainability Design programme?

– What do you think about a needs-driven approach to innovation?

– What impact do you expect the BioSustainability Design programme to have on your career path?

Please note that the size of your PDF must not exceed 10 MB.

Please answer the following two questions in a video recording that is no more than 2 minutes long:

– Describe a decision you made that was a failure. What happened and why?

– How do you network and make new contacts?

Upload the video to the recruitment platform along with the rest of the requested materials.

What happens after I submit my application?

When the application deadline is reached, we will assess all applicants and select a number of candidates to participate in the following activities:

  • Aptitude test
  • Online group workshop
  • Written assignment
  • Personal interview

 

You will be notified in April if you are selected to proceed in the recruitment process. Based on the output of the above activities, we select the most suitable candidates and form balanced teams based on background, profiles, and motivation.
